Our intent with breeding is to produce top notch wild bird dogs, with the talent, style, and biddability, to successfully compete in tests and trials. We prefer to see pedigrees documenting a history of achievement, such as Dual Champions (Field Trial & Show), NSTRA Champions, NAVHDA Utility prized dogs, or Hunt Test titled dogs, etc. It's easy for anyone to say that they own a great dog, but it's another thing to back it up by investing the time and training into the dog, to prove it's merit at a test or trial.
We seek puppy homes prioritizing in hunting, testing/trialing, and most importantly--having a canine family companion. It is important to us that our pups do not grow up to be forgotten kennel dogs and we want our puppies to have FOREVER homes. We encourage new owners to attend puppy classes, join training groups like NAVHDA, and remember that a puppy can only become what it's owner makes of it. We expect our new owners to invest time in their puppy, to reap the rewards of a great family and hunting companion.
